Leaks and holes

Work came pretty much to a standstill by the end of last week. The render man never came so the rendering still isn't done so the roofing still isn't finished so some of the heavy rain we've had has found its way to the timbers inside the kitchen:

Bits and pieces did happen over the last few days, however, though nothing momentous. The new fusebox was installed next to the old one, for now:

The electrician has cut holes in the bathroom ceiling to install lights and move the existing one:

And, solving the last mystery I mentioned, the ensuite now has its share of lights too, wired to the switch:

And so tomorrow the newest, most disruptive, and hopefully final stage of work will commence.

I wish all these bloody builder folk would get their dirty fingers out and finish this badboy. I wanna come visit already.

I hope you're gonna make a book and a film out of this!

"Finish" is a strange and alien concept, here in Month 21 of Project 265. However, you're welcome to come visit my padded cell when that's ready.
