Reconnected

After some pleading with the electricians this morning, we got our phone connection restored via the only socket in the house, up in the attic. So we're back to more-or-less live updates. Lucky you.

Spark 1 proved to be correct on the possibility of moving the fusebox left:

"Do not walk" says the sign in the bedroom doorway. Unfortunately, the cats' literacy skills are poor (our local schools aren't great) so I've wedged it in there tightly as a barrier.


Inside, the floor looks done -- skirting and all:

Of course, I can't inspect the full extent, nor the en suite, yet.

The kitchen is also out of bounds today, with another one of those non-level self-levelling compounds in place:


Also, the front scaffolding came down, so the house almost looks like a house from the front.
