Big surprise: no floors yesterday. For anyone interested in what a levelling compound looks like, it's this:


Among the things we did get yesterday is a new front door step:


The big action was focused on the rendering, at long last. They started with the one-storey extension, putting the cement render on the back and patio side, and pebbledashing down the side passage.


The scaffolding is being taken apart by degrees, and there's none at the back now.


I expect the pebbledash work to be brought around to the front shortly (today, hopefully; but it's not really pebbledash weather out there), where the windows have been prepared for the onslaught:


Any chance of floors and/or tiles today, do you reckon?
